Glass Beads for Road-marking

Glass Beads for Road-marking are specially used for road marking paints and thermoplastic to provide excellent night retro-reflectivity. When the headlight shines on the road line at night, the ray is reflected by Glass Beads, then the driver can see the road clearly and drive safely. Usually, the rate of glass beads in paint is 15-25%, used for intermix and drop-on.

Technical Reference

1. Appearance: Colourless and transparent ball, no visible bubbles and impurity.
2. Roundness: ≥80%
3. Density: 2.4-2.6 g/cm³, Refractive index: Nd≥1.50
4. Glass bead composition: The glass bead is made of sodium and calcium. SiO2＞68%

2. As per American AASHTO, Korean KS etc. other international standard.
3. Produce as clients’ required distribution specification between 50μm-1180μm.

Packing

25kg/bag, one inner plastic bag, two poly-woven bags or one coated poly-woven bag. Paper bag or carton packing is available. Wooden pallet or jumbo bag is also available.
