Micro-crystalline Aluminum Oxide's main material is bauxite. It is obtained by electrically fusing the bauxite under high temperature and sharply cooling. Its color and chemical composition is similar to that of brown fused alumina. It's featured with small crystal size, good toughness and excellent self-sharpening performance. The abrasive tools made of it are suitable for heavy-load grinding, forming grinding, infeed grinding and snag grinding. They are also suitable for the grinding of stainless steel, carbon steel, bearing steel and special nodular cast iron etc..
